Roles

  • Export Department:

    This team of Business Development Managers, headed up by the International Commercial Manager, is responsible for all international Distributor business outside of the Americas. Each Business Development Manager is responsible for a zone comprising of a number of markets. Acting as a business consultant they work in partnership with distributors to help raise brand awareness and increase label.m sales worldwide. A Business Development Manager advises and supports on all aspects of business including strategy alignment; team management, targeting, motivation and training; stock management; promotional and launch planning; PR, marketing and education plans; forecasting. They manage and influence orders on a monthly basis and are responsible for the forecasting and planning process for their markets. The Export Team work closely with Marketing, PR, Education, Finance and Logistics Departments in order to continually improve our international offering as well as overall label.m performance worldwide.

  • eCommerce

    The eCommerce team are responsible for the development of our brand sites and online shops as well as affiliate marketing activity which drives sales both online and across salons. They are creatively and analytically driven and work closely with our Marketing, Media and PR teams as well as with our external web agency. In addition, they liaise with our suppliers to create appealing and often unique online promotions to TONI&GUY. Much of the work required to keep the sites fresh and up-to-date are completed by the eCommerce department using an ever-developing Content Management System allowing the business to react quickly to product launches, news stories and awards. Responsible also for the design and delivery of email newsletters with seasonal, targeted and proactive campaigns all of which help to deliver against online objectives and key performance indicators.

  • Logistics/Warehouse

    Our logistics team manage our 35,000+ square foot warehouse and are key to the label.m supply chain. They ship goods to customers all over the world including label.m distributors, domestic and overseas TONI&GUY salons, third party salons and online customers. In addition, they pre-pack promotional label.m goods, deal with the day to day internal movement of stock as well as Goods In. The team also provides support for many of the shows, exhibitions and events that the Company attends or organises. The warehouse is a fast moving environment run by a multi-skilled team of dedicated staff who pick orders ranging from one box to 20 pallets in size. These are shipped to countries all over the world with up to 5 tonnes of parcels being processed on any given day.

  • Purchasing Department

    The Purchasing Department are assigned the task of procuring the correct equipment, materials and services, of the correct quality, in the correct quantities. This is achieved by implementing flexible and adaptable sourcing strategies, through the identification, management, analysis and assessment of suppliers, the maintenance of strong relationships with these suppliers and the analysis of sales patterns and forecasts. They play a key role in new product development and bringing new products to market in a timely manner and ensure that appropriate stock levels are maintained. All the while they balance the needs of our salons, distributors and on-line customers with the profitability of the business.

  • Customer Service

    The Customer Service teams primary objectives are to ensure that all customers are given the best possible experience when contacting MGLtd. Client orders are placed and managed to company procedures and standards, they act as the main point of contact for customers, dealing with any queries they may have. The skilled team members ensure that any sales administration work is processed, such as printing out and completing invoices, assist in putting together any customer reports or statements, raise credit notes for customers, update prices lists, run sales and order reports. Effectively liaise with internal departments such as the stock department, warehouse, and accounts to ensure deliveries are received in a timely manner.

  • Marketing Department

    The diverse experience, energetic confidence, commercial savviness with a creative twist are the key elements making label.m marketing a winning team. Charged with creating excitement around the ever growing label.m range and new product launches nationally and globally by developing and delivering competitive launch strategies and marketing stories alongside all internal and external marketing and advertising assets; and sales support material. Working with sensational fashion design talent, they look after sourcing and developing unique promotions and gifts with purchase for label.m salon clients globally. As dedicated brand ambassadors they organise and represent the brand at consumer events as well as global brand events, mentoring label.m salons and distributors in marketing best practice. With the aim to create the best client experience at every brand touch point, they also manage salon and client e-mail programme and engagement-led brand platforms.

  • New Product Development

    The NPD function leads new and existing product development projects, from concept, testing, to development and launch. Manages the new product life-cycle and calendar in alignment with the strategic plan and vision within a dynamic and fast paced environment as follows: Sources and monitors category research, trends and competitor activity Identifies new opportunities and delivers innovative formula / product propositions in time and within budgeted parameters Manages product testing process with Global Creative Director and the International Artistic Team Maximises existing supplier relationships as well as identifying new potential suppliers Manages packaging artwork process, ensuring design and copy are developed on time and to meet legal requirements Ensures ongoing and timely communication with all cross-functional teams and Senior Management

  • UK Commercial Department

    This team of Key Account and National Account Managers, headed up by the UK Commercial Manager, is responsible for growing the UK Concept Salon business at the premium end of the UK Hairdressing Industry. Working on a specific geographical territory each KAM works in partnership with existing business and searches for new business of the appropriate profile.  This is a multi-faceted customer facing role encompassing order management, education, motivation and general advice on business growth.  As well as this each team member is responsible for the forecasting and planning process for their territory. The UK Commercial Team work closely with Marketing, PR, Education, Finance and Logistics Departments in order to continually improve our UK offering as well as the overall performance of the label.m brand.

  • Finance Department (label.m and Mascolo Group Ltd.)

    The Finance team is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of transactions of a financial nature. This allows the business to be appropriately reported on such that correct decisions can be made as to the suitable allocation of resources to grow our brand. It interacts with all departments and includes roles that ensure debts are collected, suppliers, staff and taxes are paid and legislation is adhered to and insurance is maintained.

  • Legal

    The legal team comprises a number of dedicated individuals who are charged with advising and assisting the company on managing its legal risk. Whilst they are called to advise on a wide variety of issues, their focus is on commercial matters, with a particular emphasis on the distribution side of the business, both in the UK and overseas.
