WITH ELLE PAGE: FROM STUDENT TO EDUCATOR
The Beginner's Course is designed to give you everything you need to build a successful career in hairdressing from the ground up. Throughout the programme, you'll develop a strong foundation in cutting, colouring, styling and salon professionalism, learning directly from our multi-award-winning Artistic Team.
You'll master core cutting techniques and gain confidence in styling and finishing hair, including braiding, hair-up work and creating the perfect blow-dry. Alongside this, you'll learn the theory and fundamental principles of colour before progressing to practical techniques such as tint applications, highlights, pre-lightening and colour correction.
One of the things I love most about the course is seeing students grow not only in technical ability but also in confidence. With personal mentoring five days a week, access to our digital learning platform and constant support from educators and peers, you're never learning alone.
The course culminates in a final catwalk presentation, where students showcase their work to family, friends and our salon partners. It's always an incredibly proud moment and a chance to celebrate just how far you've come.

Having started my career as a student at the TONI&GUY Academy, this really is a full-circle moment for me. Now, as an Artistic Director and Head of the Beginner’s Course at our London Flagship Academy, I’m passionate about giving the next generation of hairdressers the same strong foundation that shaped my own journey.

COURSE INFORMATION
Our Beginner's Courses are full-time programmes running Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm, creating an immersive learning experience that mirrors the pace and professionalism of a salon environment.
