Due to phenomenal business growth, we are now hiring for an ambitious and driven Salon Manager to be based in our TONI&GUY central London salon group.
As Salon Manager, you will play a key part in representing and promoting the TONI&GUY brand and Superbrand status and you will play a vital role in driving the success of your business forward.
Managing the Salon
As Salon Manager you are responsible for leading, monitoring and analysing the daily operation of the salon under your care. One of your primary goals will be to foster and maintain a healthy, positive team environment, leading by example, whilst ensuring that service operations are delivered smoothly and to the highest quality.
Leading Your Team to Success
A vital part of your role will be to cultivate a quality team and maximise their potential. You will set individual team member goals and objectives, monitor staff performance and provide guidance for growth. You will also be responsible for managing your salon rotas efficiently to ensure the team can meet client demand at all times as well as maximise on their earnings potential. You will also ensure that your team and salon practices adhere to all current hygiene, health and safety requirements to ensure a safe working environment for your team and clients alike.
Recruitment, Learning & Development of Your Team
As Salon Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting and fully staffing your own salon. Hiring and training new team members is a key part of your role and you will be responsible for the recruitment of talented, driven stylists, technicians and support staff, building on each employee’s strengths to help them unlock their full potential within the business.
One of the most important roles of the Salon Manager is to maintain a strong client base and ensure a high level of client satisfaction and retention. You will work with the Global Support Office to review client retention rates and sales data, adjusting your salon strategy and team targets accordingly. You will be responsible for following the salon promotional calendar to maximise productivity, ensuring that the team delivers the right level of aftercare advice, including our award winning label.m product range.

The following attributes and experience will be critical to your success as Salon Manager
Previous management experience within a busy salon or retail environment, and proven track record of motivating your team to achieve success.
Operational knowledge of merchandising, sales, and marketing related to the salon environment.
Solid understanding of business and management procedures associated with leadership, including staff management, resource allocation and budgeting.
Strong leadership skills with a meticulous eye for detail, good organisational skills and an ability to prioritise on the move and take your team with you on the journey.
