What’s the inspiration behind the hair?

Art Director Louis Maharaj worked with the theme of adventure and individual endeavors to reflect identity and diversity. The hair is all about a tailored approach for each model, in honour or craftsmanship, detail and design with natural movement and accentuated texture

The Collection

What’s the inspiration behind the collection?

Velsvoir AW 20 draws inspiration from the concept of sustainable function and fashion. Working with traditional textures such as tweed, fine wool and organic cotton, the collection embodies elegance in the pursuit of adventure. The heritage of the countryside and the modernity of the city, working simultaneously to create a collection of garments to suit the man on the move.

Top Tip 1

Wet hair down and apply label.m Curl Define Foam

Top Tip 2

Scrunch through whilst shaping the texture of the hair – letting the hair fall naturally to aid root lift and movement, using a hairdryer on medium heat

Top Tip 3

Mix label.m Matte Paste and Fashion Edition Volumising Paste – one acts as a base and the other to shape and texturise. Work into hair liberally.

Top Tip 4

Pull out random areas and finish with label.m Hairspray
