Collection inspiration:
The ‘We Shall Not Wilt’ collection was inspired by protest marches, anti-war slogans and flower power movements. BODYBOUND created its collection around an unlikely symbol of rebellion: the flower. This year is the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love and ‘Flower Power’ revolution. ‘Flower Revolutions’ have long been the precursor to the fall of dictators and political transformation. Objects associated with political action and state violence are subverted with delicate fabrics, elaborate motifs and ornate textiles. This season BODYBOUND brings together an irreverent nostalgia and rebellious energy.

Hair inspiration:
The hair reflects the collection motif using the late 60s and 70s as inspiration. A lot of movement, easy and not too neat, think a young Mick Jagger.

Get the look

1. Step 1

   1. Apply label.m Volume Mousse to the surface of the hair

2. Step 2

   Create some movement by wrap drying hair from side to side using the label.m Cushion Brush and Tourmaline Dryer

3. Step 3

   Focussing on the front area of hair, brush fringe forward and separate slightly with fingers

4. Step 4

   Once style is set, lightly work in label.m Matt Paste on the roots to encourage separation
