The Hair
What’s the inspiration behind the hair?
Daniele de Angelis, International Artistic Director and TONI&GUY Session Team created hair which followed the theme of rural farmers in India, with messy top knot buns accessorised with brightly coloured fuchsia pink turban-style head bands (paying homage to how farmers’ would keep cool in the sun) and accentuated by coordinating pink flowers placed to the side at the front.
The Collection
What’s the inspiration behind the collection?
Rocky Star’s SS20 collection chronicles tales of a summer day sunset in the glorious Mughal gardens of India. The collection features paisley prints – a motif reminiscent of the 18th century Mughal textures and iridescent sequins lend to the clothes in gold and silver.

Top Tip 1
Prep surface with Texturising Volume Spray and create a high ponytail – secure tightly at base with elastic
Top Tip 2
Twist ponytail and coil on top of head – secure with pins and grips
Top Tip 3
Place pre-twisted fabric, doubled-up in length around the hairline - knot, then place grip into the flower and insert into front of fabric to embellish
