Biography

The International Woolmark Prize is the incarnation of a 60 year history of design awards supported by the Australian wool industry. The competition recognises outstanding rising fashion labels from across the globe, with nominated designers invited to present their innovative Merino wool collections to a panel of industry experts during the July regional awards.

The finalists are judged by a panel of some of the world’s most important fashion industry figures. The overall winner receives a AU$100,000 sponsorship, with their winning Merino wool capsule collection stocked in some of the world’s most prestigious fashion retailers.
