TONI&GUY has long been renowned as an innovator within the hair industry, bridging the gap between fashion and hairdressing.

Founded by brothers, Toni (Giuseppe) and Guy (Gaetono) Mascolo, they opened their first salon in Clapham, south London in 1963, TONI&GUY is still the largest independent salon group worldwide, offering the best in innovative cutting, colour and styling.

The brothers along with their younger brothers Bruno and Anthony pushed the boundaries and turned hairdressing as people knew it, on its head. Moving away from the regular trip to the salon in which ladies repeated their hairstyle each week, they positioned TONI&GUY as a hair fashion brand, which quickly became known for its innovative, creative and rather avant garde approach to hairdressing.

A British brand with a strong heritage in both high fashion and hair styling, TONI&GUY firmly bridges the gap between the two. This is a brand which has helped to change the face of the hairdressing industry on an international scale and today has over 650 salons spanning across in 38 countries.

Driven by this philosophy and the belief of delivering creativity, quality and consistency to every client, TONI&GUY has won more than 80 British Hairdressing Awards including Best Artistic Team a record 11 times and British Hairdresser of the Year four times that includes global creative director Cos Sakkas’ first win for the 2022-2023 title. The late co-founder Toni Mascolo is a former winner of London Entrepreneur of the Year and in 2008 received an honourable OBE in recognition of his services to the British hairdressing industry, whilst Global Brand Director Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck, who joined the family business in 1988 was the youngest ever winner of Newcomer of the Year at just 19 years old, the first of her many awards.

TONI&GUY remains committed to its vision to link the fashion industry with hairdressing through its partnership with the British Fashion Council and their projects, London Fashion Week, London Fashion Week Men’s and The Fashion Awards, a partnership that began in September 2004. The TONI&GUY session team work on more than 100 shows a year in London, Paris, Milan, New York, Tokyo, Shanghai, Prague and other keys cities around the world and offers support to key British design talent such as Paul Costello, David Koma, JW Anderson, Giles Deacon, House of Holland and Mary Katranzou. These unique relationships also saw label.m professional haircare benefit from several designer collaborations.

With an eye firmly on the future, TONI&GUY continues to take on exciting new challenges and collaborations. 2013 saw label.m receive the ultimate seal of fashion approval, as the range became the 'Official Haircare Product of London Fashion Week' - a landmark move for the British Fashion Council and a first for the hairdressing industry. This plus numerous collaborations with key British design talent reinforces TONI&GUY's position as the fashion led hairdresser.

In 2022 it’s professional haircare LABEL.M was redesigned and reformulated – the new and improved LABEL.M range was upgraded to deliver results like never before by the TONI&GUY dynamic Global Artistic Team. Their expertise, along with the technological innovations of expert scientists and manufacturers, has been combined to revamp the LABEL.M range ensuring infinite care and deep knowledge has been poured into every single product.
