Kalissi is a luxury womenswear brand based in vienna, austria. The brand combines bold colours, shapes and complementary concepts with fine fabrication and feminine attire inspired by retro looks without being dated. Kalissi has been operating for one year and launched it’s first collection in 2018. The ss19 collection recently landed at paris and tokyo fashion weeks. Embodying the spirit of austria’s innovation in-fashion is Christina Maria Hardlicka. Focussing on funky designs and humorous prints she graduated from the university for applied arts Vienna with a background in textle/graphic design and photography. Kalissi creates clothing that bridges the gap between semi-couture and casual, art and practicality. Sustainability and fair production are of big importance to the emerging brand. All sampling and production takes place in austria. All accessories are handmade in the designer studio in Vienna. Rather than selling individual items, Kalissi is focussed on providing full outfits , reinventing the idea of the ‘costume’ and making it the key element of the brand’s DNA.
