Designer inspiration:
Space travel beyond human boundries: to seek out, develope and understand what lies beyond inspired Hardy Aimes Creative Director Mehmet Ali's S/S 2016 collection, and one that similarly inspired Sir Hardy himself in 1968 when he designed the costumes for Stanley Kubick's seminal film 2001: Space Odyssey.

Hair inspiration:
As Hardy Amies head of team for a third season, International Artistic Director Kevin Luchmun and the TONI&GUY Session Team got to work creating a 1920's inspired yet somewhat futuristic hair look. Working with a side parting, but to make it more futuristic, taking the parting from the middle of the eye brows. Really slick and polished on the top of the head and sides, whilst working with texture on the crown area but still maintaining a flat shape, rather than height.

Get the look

1. 

   Step 1

   Prep the hair with label.m Volume Mousse and label.men Grooming Cream.

2. 

   Step 2

   Work the side parting and then blow-dry to fix shape.

3. 

   Step 3

   Using a hairnet placed over the hair, use hold and gloss and blow-dry it flat.

4. 

   Step 4

   Once dry, work texture on the crown area to create the contrast of dry and wet.

5. 

   Step 5

   Must have label.m haircare: label.m Volume Mousse, label.men Grooming Creme, label.m Hold & Gloss Spray.

6. 

   In the Session kit:

   label.m Tail End Comb, label.m Tourmaline Dryer, Hairnet.
