The Hair
What’s the inspiration behind the hair?
International Artistic Director Efi Davies and the TONI&GUY Session team created beautiful intricacy, with a contemporary interpretation on braids - inspired by the designer’s tribute to the Taureg Saharan women. Emphasis focused on regality and elegance which aligned to the collection
The Collection
What’s the inspiration behind the collection?
Having worked as a high-profile stylist and currently UK Corresponding Editor for Elle Italia, Deborah Latouche debuts her first collection for AW 20. SABIRAH grew from a desire to fulfill the needs of the modern modest dresser, without having to compromise due to the limitations of fast fashion. Designer Deborah Latouche found herself drawn to the formation of flowers - the leaves and petals feature in a sleeve for example. She also found inspiration in the artwork of Tamara Natalie Madden and her paintings of everyday women elevated to a regal status
