What’s the inspiration behind the hair?
International Artistic Director, Cos Sakkas and the TONI&GUY Session Team re-imagine Wen Pan’s trip to the flower market on a wet day; The veil at the front representing the rain, the slicked back hair and comb marks to reflect the stalks of the flowers and the undone section at the back embodies the end of a busy day through a distressed texture
The Collection
What’s the inspiration behind the collection?
Wen Pan AW20 brings an image of quietness in chaos and celebrates the romance found in traces of human activities. What we found most beautiful in a crowded flower market was the road when the market finished. When stalls and people left, there were always flowers, petals, cut stems smashed on the road, into the water, which formed a raw romance in a random way. Smashed flowers are shown as the designer’s own prints on sheer cotton, contrasting with textured and coated cotton, which refers to wet rough roads

Use a wide tooth comb to create the rake marks then clip in place for added definition
