What’s the inspiration behind the hair?
Hayley Bishop International Artistic Director and TONI&GUY Session Team worked mainly with a wet versus dry texture, where there was variation in approach given to each individual model in relation to the overall theme.
The Collection
What’s the inspiration behind the collection?
Le Sillage means “the wake” and expresses their initial intention to create an independent brand in pursuit of original ideas. With an almost entirely black collection presented for ss 20 – as a reflection of the brand’s clean aesthetic. Often seen as monotonous – however brings a high-level of dignity as a disguise for people. The pieces all incorporate morphological changes and deconstruction through vertical cutting and cross-gender style.
