On the 27th November, stars of the hairdressing industry came together for HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards 2017, to celebrate the breadth of hair talent that keeps the UK at the pinnacle of the hairdressing world every year.
It was on this night that multi-award-winning International Artistic Director Indira Schauwecker, who’s based at the TONI&GUY London Academy and Covent Garden salon, walked away with the coveted title of London Hairdresser of the Year 2017.
Her winning collection (see below) saw her draw inspiration from key hair trends of the 70s, creatively transforming the styles into fresh, modern looks. Shot by Jack Eames, the photography fuses high fashion with editorial to create a beautifully chic collection of images.
This marks Indira’s fourth BHA win She has previously prevailed as Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year in 2016, 2012 and 2011.
Congratulations to Indira and well done to all our talented finalists.
