On the Monday 26th November, the hairdressing industry’s elite came together for HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards 2018, in celebration of the breadth of hair talent that keeps the UK at the pinnacle of the hairdressing world every year.
It was on this night that the TONI&GUY International Artistic Team celebrated no less than three prestigious wins, alongside their peers and Global Creative Director, Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck, bringing the total number of TONI&GUY BHA award wins to an amazing 71. This includes eight wins for Avant Garde and nine Newcomer wins by hairdressing talents Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck, Cos Sakkas, Indira Schauwecker, Efi Davies, Sophie Springett and more…
The first award of the night went to International Artistic Director, Philipp Haug, when he was awarded the coveted title of London Hairdresser of the Year for his collection inspired by Global Creative Director, Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck’s 2009 campaign collection, ‘Alignment’.
TONI&GUY Academy Educator, Sylvestre Finold, was announced as the winner for Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year - the second accolade of the night, for his collection inspired by fashion design sketches and Japanese manga.
Then there was the third TONI&GUY win of the night, when educator Gianluca Carusa was announced as Newcomer Hairdresser of the Year, for his first ever BHA entry for his I.D. collection.
