Gary Maoudis is the Salon Director. He started his career by training during the 1990's in London, later joining TONI&GUY. Deciding to work for TONI&GUY Gary moved back up North and began work at the salon in Chester in 1997. Soon after moving to Chester Gary became the Manager and then in 2001 he became salon manager/franchisee. Gary specializes in Gents Barbering and creating short, easy to manage ladies haircuts. Gary is also a keen racing cyclist and enjoys cooking, especially Greek food!
Assistant Manager & Technical Director
Jade joined TONI&GUY Chester early in 2005. After a successful apprenticeship with us, she qualified as a stylist in 2008.
Not satisfied with just cutting hair, she decided to follow her passion for colour shorty after that and embarked on the required training to become a fully qualified colourist.
Jade proved to have a talent in this area, gaining the qualification and going on to acquire the Loreal colour specialist degree with a distinction.
Jade is also the staff trainer and assistant manager.
Day off: Wednesday.
Mel Kimpton joined our team in 2006, her passion for fashion is reflected in her eclectic clientele. Mel regularly works at London Fashion Week, in the pop up salon and backstage bringing all the the newstyles and fashions back to the salon for our staff and clients. Mel is also our salons Strength in Style Consultant (Expert hair care for people affected by cancer), label.m product expert, specialist in Bridal hair and enjoys all aspects of gents hairdressing. Day off: Tuesday.
Katy started with TONI&GUY as an Assistant in June 2000 and has since progressed to Style Director.
Katy’s work speaks for itself; she prides herself in delivering the highest standards to all of her clients.
Katy always gives her clients her upmost and undivided attention and this shows as she has a very loyal clientele.
Katy works Mondays and Fridays.
Rebecca has been with us at our TONI&GUY Chester salon for 10 years.
Rebecca has attended the Macmillan ‘Strength in Style’ course in London, and can now offer expert hair care advice for people affected by cancer.
Rebecca has a wealth of experience and aims to offer you the highest standard of hairdressing and the best salon experience.
Day off: Thursday.
Sian started with TONI&GUY Chester in 2008. She progressed through her apprenticeship gaining a distinction
She enjoys creating looser texture on both men and women. Her interest in these alternative but modern looks also extends to feminine and simple hair up.
She gained valuable experience in service on an extended break from us and is now back and looking forward to your call.
Sians days off are Monday and Tuesday.
Katie started hairdressing in 2003. By 2005 she was working at Toni&Guy and completed her training at the Manchester Academy in 2006. With her Toni & Guy qualification and a passion for travel Katie headed off. Along the way she styled hair in Australia, rock climbed and trekked volcanoes in Nicaragua and travelled to many other countries. Katie loves to interact with clients to find out their likes and dislikes leading to a customised cut that you will love.
Since joining Toni&Guy Chester in 2015 Lib has worked her way up through the full educational process to become a fully qualified Stylist.
She gained her NVQ level, 2, 3 and 4 and successfully completed her vardering at the prestigious Toni&guy Accademy.
Her team would describe her as "Motivated, conscientious, and a bit of a perfectionist.
Lib says "“I love how every day and every client is different. You manage to build a bond with your client as they trust you to use the knowledge and skills you have to achieve a look that they are happy with.”
Her day off is a Wednesday.
Jess started her hairdressing career at Toni&Guy Essensuals after gaining a distinction in her NVQ Level 1&2 she then qualified as a colour technician. She transferred to Toni&guy Chester where she worked until 2011.
Her passion for teaching led to her gaining a full teaching degree and working as a supply teacher for 5-11 year olds.
She kept hairdressing during this period and specialised in colouring, hair up and blowdrying long hair. She is also a Kerastase product expert.
Chelsea started hairdressing when she took a Saturday job in Chester. As soon as she finished school She started an apprenticeship and completed her NVQ level 1 & 2. After a few years she decided to take her NVQ level 3 at Deeside College. Whilst there Chelsea won hairdressing student of the year and was nominated for the inspire award.
Still wanting to progress more and specialise in colour Chelsea joined Toni & Guy. It was always the dream to work for them. She gained NVQ level 4 and a distinction, the final qualification at the prestigious TONI&GUY Manchester Academy.
Chelsea says “I enjoy hair ups, blowdrys and colour. My favourite thing to do is balayage. I am very passionate about what I do”
Chelsea's Day off is Wednesday.
