Daniel Crabtree London Fashion Week AW21

The Hair & the Collection

Unexpected fits and proportions, generated using freehand pattern cutting, evoking awkward youth, form the basis of Daniel Crabtree’s AW21 collection. Second-hand knitwear is repurposed into new fabrics, with wool offcuts and waxed cotton deadstock worked alongside- no new fabric was used in the making of this collection. Styled with reworked chain necklaces and cut-up tights-socks – punk subculture for the modern era.

TONI&GUY Academy Educator, perfected this grungy look by giving the illusion of hair that is short in the sides and back, before using the hairdryer to brush the sides up for punk texture. To achieve the look, he used label.men Thickening Tonic for highlighted definition and hold.
