Pam Hogg London Fashion Week SS20

Friday13th September at 5:00pm

Backstage at London Fashion Week with TONI&GUY Artistic Director INDIRA, creates the looks for the Spring/Summer 20 PAM HOGG show using our award-winning in-house professional haircare range label.m

The Hair

  • What’s the inspiration behind the hair?

Indira and team reinterpreted the theme with wigs in silver blue-tinged platinum made to replicate the frizzy fur of poodles, whilst the models’ hair was styled to celebrate ‘poodle-power’ with three puffed-out, yet neatly tucked ponytails, created to emulate pampered grooming with extreme elegance. The look speaks lots about how together, hair and make-up empower. Nothing is understated – embrace being overdressed and exaggerate glamour.

      The Collection

What’s the inspiration behind the collection?

Presenting ‘Best in Class’ Pam goes all out with a collection for SS20 which pays homage to the dog lovers with a penchant for Poodles! In characteristic fashion, she sent guys down the runway in t-shirts emblazoned with logos such as: ‘Pam’s Poodle Parlour’ as well as ‘Best in Boy’. There were also her signature fluffy ensembles in high-octane hot pink and canary yellow, plus beautifully hand-drawn ‘poodle-prints’ featured on dresses with extended trains. Pure Pam Hogg!

      Get the look

      Top Tip 1

Section hair into three ponytails – at the top and two at the back.

      Top Tip 2

Keep it neat and secure by using an elastic band.

      Top Tip 3

Create the effect by backcombing each ponytail after applying label.m Texturising Volume Spray from the root to ends and gently creating big rolls by folding the hair forwards and ‘fan’ using fingers around a netted pad secured by pins.
